Nourishment For The Body

Nourishment for the Bodynourishment for the body

So many of us long to live a healthy and fulfilled life, yet it is so easy to grab something fast or convenient. How do we break this constant cycle to move forward?

Any area in which we want to see change takes a mind set to see beyond where you are today and, a goal and a will to do it. We cannot expect to see results by doing the same thing over and over. Lets be intentional; with small steps, small exchanges to see results.

Isaiah 55:2 ” Why do you spend your money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not strengthen  and satisfy? Listen diligently to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.”

I wonder what would happen if we had a change of attitude towards living a healthy life? To focus on what strengthens us rather then how we look. The more you continue to discipline yourself and make conscious decisions to nourish yourself the reward will be there.

Listen, I get that we all want to look good and when I’m nourishing myself in all areas of my life I feel it and look it. That is the reward of discipline! Not only will you become physically well, but your soul will delight itself!

We understand that in order for muscle to to grow we need to break it down “workout” , then we must feed the muscle and last but not least we need to rest the muscle. In the same way our souls must be nourished in God’s word so we can be equipped for the unexpected everyday life. As we we are fed then our Spirit is strengthened and we can Rest in Him.

I encourage you to press on today ladies ,to Nourish yourselves and continue to crush limitations!!

Here are some simple exchanges…

Instead of potato chips have 1/4 cup nuts

Instead of a milkshake have a protein shake

Instead of a candy bar have 1 oz. of dark chocolate

Lots of Love,

Stef.

  1. Stef, what a beautiful way to lead women to a more meaningful relationship with The Lord and themselves. We need knowledge of who we are to Him to realize our true value. Not my the world’s standards, but that we are so valued, that Jesus Christ gave His life to give us life! And, He has given us instruction on how to live it… Even down to the way we eat! Thank you for writing! Praying for you my sister! Love, Leslie
